Amidst the lockdown and corona crisis, the number of corona infected is increasing in Chhattisgarh. Due to this, the state government has placed 95 areas in the Containment Zone. Recently, there has been a rapid increase in the number of infected people in these areas. The number of containment zones in the state was 44 last week. The Health Department said that 13 development blocks and urban areas have been kept in the Red Zone in the state. Development blocks and urban areas have been divided into zones based on active cases of corona there. The official said, "13 development blocks and urban areas have been placed in the red zone. These include Dondilohara (Balod district), Kota, Bilaspur, Bilha, Takhatpur and Masturi (Bilaspur district), Raigad town, Churia (Rajanandgaon district), Mungeli, Ambikapur, Pandaria (Kabirdham), Balodabazar (Balodabazar District), Korba." He said that although not a single case of corona has been registered in some of these areas, yet it is in the Orange Zone.
