Chattisgarh: Woman theft at a Jewelry shop

Raipur: A woman who came as a customer from a bullion shop in Jagdalpur district headquarters of Bastar division of Chhattisgarh, cleaned hands-on jewelry worth more than Rs 2.5 lakh. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV cameras. In which three partners are also seen with the woman. The police have registered a case and started investigating.

According to the police, this theft incident took place at Standard Jewelers in Jagdalpur city. A woman who arrived as a customer, made the jewelry disappear with such cleanliness that the shopkeeper did not even get a clue. After the lady left, when the shopkeeper came to know that the jewelry was low, she started to do CCTV, then the shopkeeper came to know that the woman had crossed the jewelry. Shopkeeper Arihant Jain reached the police station and complained about it. The police have started investigating the case. It is clearly visible in CCTV that a woman and a man enter the shop on the pretext of buying jewelry.

They keep watching earrings for a long time, after some time and ask them to show the earrings. As the shopkeeper turns his eye to pick up salmon, the woman presses 18 gold earrings and three gold chains to the waist. After some time, the couple leaves the shop. The entire incident of theft was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop. The police is now under investigation based on CCTV footage.
