Chicken Mousse Recipe for this warm weather

This recipe is perfect for summer, as a main dish or starter. Minced chicken in white sauce, cream, and spiced butter, chilled overnight are the real essence of the whole dish. Add a taste to your dinner with this.

Ingredients Of Chicken Mousse 1 large chicken - cooked, skinned and minced 50 gms butter 12 curry leaves 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp curry powder 1 1/2 Tbsp flour 125 ml chicken stock 150 ml milk 50 gms butter 50 gms hung yoghurt 125 ml whipped cream

For Garnish: Chopped herbs Sliced tomatoes

How to Make Chicken Mousse 1.Melt butter. Toss in curry leaves and garlic and stir in curry powder. Cook for one minute.

For the Chicken Sauce: 1.Add flour, followed by stock and milk. Thicken over a moderate flame. Then cool. 2.Gradually add the sauce to minced chicken. 3.Beat in butter and hung curd. Season well. 4.Fold in cream. Spoon into a lightly oiled mould. Chill overnight. 5.Garnish the chicken mousse with tomatoes and herbs. 6.Serve the Chicken Mousse with toast.
