CM Shivraj meets Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia at his office at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan in New Delhi last Monday. He congratulated and congratulated Jyotiraditya Scindia on becoming the Union Minister. In addition, the Chief Minister proposed to the Union Minister to make Bhopal Airport an International Airport and demanded that Bhopal Airport be developed as a hub.

 

 

At the same time, he also demanded approval for the construction of a new airport at Gwalior. At the same time, the Chief Minister urged for expansion of Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur airports, increase in the frequency of international flights in Indore, and introduction of international flights from Indore to Singapore and Gulf countries. During the meeting, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked Union Minister Scindia for starting eight new airlines in the state namely Gwalior-Mumbai-Gwalior, Gwalior-Pune-Gwalior, Jabalpur-Surat-Jabalpur, Ahmedabad-Gwalior-Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "The launch of these flights from July 16 will give a new impetus to the development of the state. People will get employment, as well as tourism and trade. The Chief Minister also demanded the promotion of new flights and air connectivity in Rewa, Khajuraho, Datia, Gwalior, Bhopal, Jabalpur under the Union Government's Udaan Scheme. Meanwhile, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia assured all possible assistance from the Centre on the proposals made by Chief Minister Chouhan.'' There are reports that during their meeting with Scindia, the two leaders also discussed the appointment of corporators.
