Corona wreaks havoc in 70 countries, death toll reaches to 3000

BEIJING: Corona virus is wreaking havoc in many countries of the world. Everyday, someone is losing his life after being a victim of this disease. The number of people who have lost their lives worldwide due to the coronavirus has taken the form of an epidemic. While the number of infected people has crossed the figure of 88 thousand. So far, cases of this disease have been reported in more than 70 countries.

New cases of infection decline in China: According to the information received, it has been learned that China's National Health Commission (NHC) reported on Sunday, March 1, 2020, that 42 more people have been found dead in the country. In this way the number of dead in the country has increased to 2912. After 202 new cases of infection, 80,026 people have been infected. This is the first time since 22 January that there have been so few cases of infection. The first hospital in Wuhan has been closed out of the 16 temporary hospitals set up for speedy treatment after new cases of infection declined. The National Health Commission said that this decision has been taken due to decrease in new cases of infection.

Death of Khamnei's close aide in Iran: It is also being said that Muhammad Mir Muhammadadi, a member of the advisory council of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamanei, was killed by the coronavirus. He was 71. This news came amid reports of several top officials in Iran suffering from the virus. To prevent an outbreak of the Coronavirus, Iran on Monday organized an online briefing program on behalf of its foreign ministry, as Britain has started removing its non-essential employees and their relatives from there. So far 54 people have died in Iran and 978 people are infected.
