China is our enemy, not Pakistan- Mulayam Singh Yadav at Lok Sabha

Speaking in the Lok Sabha during the zero hours, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday dredged up the China issue.

He warned that China is fully prepared to declare a war on India at any point of time. He also cautioned that the government must thus act fast and go back on its stand on Tibet.

"Today, India has the immense threat from China. I have been informed that China has installed nuclear bomb on Pakistani soil. China has prepared fully to attack India," Yadav said.

He also said that the previous government made a huge mistake by recognizing Tibet as part of China. Yadav said the protection of Bhutan and Sikkim were twin responsibilities of the government to keep China at bay. Without naming former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, he said that the Congress caucus made a "big mistake" on the Tibet issue and added that even then he had spoken against it.

Showing support for Dalai Lama he said, “Tibetan leaders like Dalai Lama have always supported India. Time has come to support the independence of Tibet as it had been a traditional buffer between the two big nations. India should extend maximum support to the Dalai Lama. China is our enemy, not Pakistan. Pakistan can do us no damage,"
