Bollywood celebrities react on Jamia students' protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill

Massive protests are taking place in different places of the country regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. Students at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi are also against this act. Three students were injured in the violence at Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh. Police has also lathi-charged students. While many Bollywood celebrities supported these students, some are opposing them.

Director Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, "Have you met anyone who knows exactly what #CAB2019 stands for?' Do you think these protesters and their intellectual supporters have read the bill in detail?

Actress Konkona Sen Sharma wrote - 'We are with the students. Shame on you Delhi Police.

Taapsee Pannu shared a video of the students, writing- 'It is amazing whether it is the beginning or the end. However, new rules are being written. If none of them fit, the result is in front of you. Watching this video makes me heartbroken. '

Actress Richa Chadha tweeted that 'it's sad. Is this normal in a country? What is the need of this much force? Who is releasing tear gas inside the students' library?
