French automaker Citroen has revealed the details of the technical specifications of its 2020 Citroen C4 and Citroen e-C4. Both these models are the 10th generation model of the Citroen hatchback. The first Citroen C4 was launched in 1928. The curtains were raised from the design of these two cars only last month. Citroën has now presented the most important details of them all. Talking about the engine option, a fully electric variant will also be given in the new generation C4 with petrol and diesel engine for the first time. A 50 kWh lithium-ion battery will be given in Electric C4 and E-C4 which will be WLTP (World Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicle Test Procedure) certified and it will give a range of 350 kilometres. The electric motor will generate 134.1 bhp power and 260 Nm torque. It takes 9.7 seconds to catch the speed of 0 to 100kmph on Sport mode and its top speed is 150kmph. The Electric Citroen C4 takes 30 minutes to charge up to 80 percent via a 100 kW public fast-charger. It takes 7 hours and 30 minutes to full charge through the 32-ampere wall box charger at home, while for 11 kW charger it takes 5 hours to be fully charged. Apart from this, the Citroen C4 has 5 petrol engine options and two diesel engine options. The option of manual and automatic gearbox can also be given. In terms of styling, the Citroen C4 and e-C4 are almost identical in appearance and have a coupe SUV-like roofline at the rear. Its front end will be quite sharp and it will be given a thin grille, angular headlamps and District double line DRLs. In the hatchback, the company has given various colour bumpers and side cladding. The rear is also very stylish and has a muscular boot and great looking tail lamps. Talking about the design language, a completely new design will be seen in it and with such design, Citroen cars can be launched in India too.
