New Delhi: Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi has distanced himself from a case in the Bhima-Koregaon violence case. The CJI on Monday distanced himself from hearing a petition challenging the Bombay High Court order denying the FIR lodged against civil rights activist Gautam Navlakha accused in the case. The Chief Justice said that the matter should be listed before the bench in which I am not involved. The Maharashtra government filed a caveat in the matter and requested that it be heard before passing any order. The High Court had said that given the seriousness of the case, we feel that a detailed investigation is needed.
