Cleanliness at railway stations will be examined by CCTV

New Delhi: Today, it was informed that the cleanliness at railway stations will be now examined by the CCTV. 

Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain said, “Presently, CCTV cameras have been installed at around 340 major railway stations across the country, with the aim of the security of travelers, which is observed by the Railway Protection Force”.

Railway Board announced the instructions to all Zonal Railways in July, 2014, for expanding the use of CCTV cameras to examine the cleanliness at railway stations. Further Railway Board issued enhanced instructions in May, 2016.
