Chennai Thaliva is better and is recovering well: CM K. Palaniswami on M Karunanidhi health updates

 

Chennai: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K. Palaniswami after meeting M Karunanidhi, DMK chief in the Chennai hospital on Monday stated that he has just met him in Kauvery hospital and assured that Chennai Thaliva is better and is recovering well.

Leaders belonging to various political parties have also visited the hospital. The working president of DMK, MK Stalin has assured that the condition of his father M Karunanidhi is stable. In a statement, Stalin said: "There was an unexpected setback in his (Karunanidhi) health but after intense medical care, he is normalising.” A team of doctors is continuously monitoring Karunanidhi’s health, added Stalin. He also urged party supporters and workers to not indulge in any sort of violence and create inconvenience for the public.

The health bulletin which was issued at 10 pm on Sunday, by Kauvery Hospital had said that there was a transient setback in the clinical condition of Karunanidhi. His imperative signs are normalising “with active medical support”.

The hospital will release another medical bulletin soon. Worth mention here earlier, the 94 year old Karunanidhi was undergoing treatment at his Gopalapuram residence in Chennai.

 Today also Karunanidhi’s supporters are staying outside the hospital despite being lathi-charged by the police on Sunday.
