New Delhi: CM Kejriwal has given financial assistance of 10 lakh rupees to the family of mini truck driver Kundan who died in water logging in Minto Bridge, capital of the country. Kundar was a resident of Uttarakhand, due to heavy rains last Sunday, there was waterlogging in Minto Bridge. Kundan, the mini-truck driver, died due to being trapped in the waterlogging. CM Kejriwal tweeted in his official Twitter account and informed that Kundan Ji, a resident of Uttarakhand, died in Minto Bridge waterlogging. Today, his family has been given financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh. His life is of no value, but I hope that the family will get some help from it. If his family needs in future also, we will definitely help. The Delhi government has implemented a new rule for the safety of people in the Minto Bridge, which is submerged due to torrential rains in Delhi. No water will cross the Minto Bridge after heavy rains and if it is flooded more than 1.5 feet. If anyone is found crossing Minto Bridge during this time, action will be taken against him by registering an FIR.
