New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh government's all-convenient "Madhya Pradesh Bhawan" has been completed in the Chanakyapuri area of the national capital Delhi. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated it in the presence of all the ministers, MPs, and MLAs of the state. In his address, the Chief Minister said that the new Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi is not just a building, it houses the sentiments and aspirations of the people of Madhya Pradesh. This building will help us in the discharge of our duties. I once again congratulate and hail the friends who have contributed to the construction of this building and dedicate this building to the people of Madhya Pradesh. CM Shivraj said that an attempt was made to increase the old building by adding one or two rooms, the rooms that were there had very limited space. It was necessary that a new Madhya Pradesh Bhawan should be built from the work point of view. This building is ready and has been inaugurated today. Madhya Pradesh cabinet ministers and officers were present at the inauguration ceremony. The CM said that Madhya Pradesh is no longer a Bimaru state. This year the growth rate is 19.76 percent. Our GSDP has crossed 12 lakh crores. Our contribution to the country's GDP is 4.3 percent. We are moving fast. This new Madhya Pradesh Bhawan also reflects the same. CM Shivraj Chouhan said ''I would like to salute Sushma Didi (Sushma Swaraj), she was the Foreign Minister at that time and this plot was with the Ministry of External Affairs. When I requested her, she did not delay in giving this land. I also salute Venkaiah Naidu. Narendra Singh Tomar also cooperated. Our building has been built keeping in view the needs of many years to come. I thank all the people who contributed to its making. The specialty of Madhya Pradesh Bhawan is that it has all the offices.'' CM Shivraj said that we had decided that it should have 108 rooms. It is a symbol of spiritual perfection and also a symbol of the completeness of creation. This building will fulfill the feeling of coexistence of center and state.
