Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken a tough stand on negligence or lethargy in work these days and due to this, he has also suspended many officials by making surprise visits to many districts in the last few days, but now the Jabalpur High Court has given relief to the officer suspended by the Chief Minister in a case and ordered to cancel his suspension. Chhindwara CMHO GC Chaurasia recently challenged the suspension made by the Chief Minister in the High Court. Hearing this, the High Court stayed Chaurasia's suspension. Along with this, notices have also been issued to the state government and others seeking a reply in the matter. On December 9 this month, Chhindwara CMHO GC Chaurasia was suspended by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the Chief Minister's Public Service Campaign program. However, this was not the first time that Chhindwara CMHO has been suspended. Cm Shivraj suspended him on September 22 this year, but even then the CMHO got relief from the High Court. In the Jabalpur High Court, the counsel for GC Chaurasia argued that no concrete argument has been given by the department on suspension of him and this process is also not proper. After hearing the argument, the High Court set aside the suspension order and also suspended the order of another officer who was appointed as CMHO in place of GC Chaurasia. Let us tell you that these days Chief Minister Shivraj is in action mode and many times he is suspending officers/employees from the public platform.
