Negligence in treatment of corona patients, CM Yogi will take action

Kanpur: CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed displeasure over treatment management at Kanpur Medical College in Uttar Pradesh. He has slammed the medical college principal for not taking rounds of senior doctors, not treating patients and attendants properly. The district collector had late in the night asked principal Prof. RB Kamal has been issued a notice asking him to improve the situation within 24 hours.

In fact, CM Yogi was interacting with the officers through video conferencing. He expressed concern over the deaths of the officers. CM Yogi is getting information from sources that there is negligence in the care of corona patients. The treatment is being carried out with the help of junior doctors. Corona will not look at patients. The death information is being recorded late on the portal. CM Yogi has expressed displeasure over this. In the same vein, DM Alok Tiwari has issued night notices and brought the attention of the medical college at all points.

Medical college administration officials came into action after receiving a notice from Kanpur DM. Principal Prof. RB Kamal has sent notices to a dozen doctors and staff in connection with the data feeding negligence. According to the principal, clarifications have been sought from the doctors and staff responsible in the cognizance of the district collector's notice. Now two doctors and two employees have been asked to be ready to update the data 24 hours a day.
