CM Yogi govt transferred 230 crores to accounts of 23.2 lakh workers

Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath has given a gift of Rs 230 crore to the workers of the state affected by the corona epidemic on Wednesday (June 9). Rs. 1000-1000 was transferred by CM Yogi as maintenance allowance to the account of 23.2 lakh registered labourers of the state. The Chief Minister himself gave the money to five labourers at a function at the government residence. Spoke through phone calls with many there.

Transferring Rs.1000 to the bank account of each labourer, CM Yogi said that for the last 125 years, not only the state but the entire country and the world have been fighting Corona epidemic, but the situation in UP is controlled today with collective efforts. Talking to Atul of Hamirpur, Mithilesh of Varanasi, Praveen Mishra of Kanpur, Kuldeep of Meerut and Rashid Ali of Jhansi through virtual medium, CM Yogi first took stock of the work, household chores and then feedback on government schemes from all.

One by one, all the workers said that they have received assistance from the government for the marriage, education and medical needs of the girl child. Moreover, everyone expressed their gratitude to the CM for getting free ration. Meanwhile, CM Yogi inaugurated the portal for registration of workers in the unorganized sector in the UP State Social Security Board.
