Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi said that smooth availability of oxygen is being ensured in the state. The special 'Oxygen Rail' of Indian Railways from Bokaro has reached UP. Modinagar, Kashipur, Panipat, and Roorkee plants are also supplying oxygen to the state. He said that this oxygen should be distributed smoothly with transparency. Small districts like Bahraich, Firozabad, etc. CM Yogi further said that oxygen is being sent from tankers to various districts including Gorakhpur, Bareilly. These tankers should be GPS monitored and adequate security forces provided. No patient will be allowed to run out of oxygen in the State. All small and big hospitals in all the districts should be closely monitored at the government level. CM Yogi said the oxygen supply system has been further strengthened by directly connecting MSME units in the state with hospitals for oxygen production or refill. He said, "Indian Air Force is also cooperating in ensuring oxygen supply from various centers. Demand and supply situation to be monitored 24×7. Make sure that the distribution system is transparent". CM Yogi said there is a need to balance the demand and supply of oxygen. In that case, an oxygen audit should be conducted. Those who are undergoing treatment in home isolation must be provided with oxygen as per the requirement. There will be no shortage of oxygen anywhere in the state.
