Amaravati: Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu were seen criticising each other during question hour in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Thursday. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu demanded that the government should have extensive consultations with all stakeholders on Godavari waters that transfer joint plans with Telangana. He also said that it is a sensitive issue. He strongly objected to the statement of Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and said plans are being made for the new irrigation project with the help of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He also said that friendly relations with the neighbouring State are essential for the development of the State. The CM said that the state is dependent on upstream states. There is no way to solve the challenges of water working without Telangana State. CM YS Jagan said that he wants to have friendly treatment with the neighbouring state if they do not have peace and harmony, the problems will not be solved.
