Whether any agreement will be announced or not will depend on the PM and the President. India wants the US to waive the high duty imposed on some steel and aluminum products. It also seeks a profit on India's total products under the US GSP. Apart from this, India wants better market access for products like agriculture, motor and engineering. At the same time, Merika wants India to provide more market access by cutting import duty on agricultural products, dairy products, medical equipment, IT and communications goods.
