On receiving approval of vaccine, PM Modi congratulates scientists

New Delhi: The corona virus havoc is decreasing rapidly across the country, but still people are scared. Meanwhile, preparations are also fast for the Corona vaccine to come to India and the countrymen are also eager to get the vaccine as soon as possible. On the last Saturday itself, a dry run has been done to see the preparations in the country. Now meanwhile, today, on Sunday, the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) held a press conference. In this press conference, he gave information related to vaccine.

 

During the press conference, he said, 'Coviculated Vaccine of Serum Institute of India (SII) and Covaxin of Bharat Biotech have been approved for emergency in the country. Serum Institute is co-producing Covishield with Oxford University. ' With this DCGI has said that 'Covisheild and covaxin are completely safe. 2–2 doses of these vaccines will be given during vaccination. The third phase of clinical trial of Cadill Healthcare vaccine has also been approved.

As soon as this news comes out, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the countrymen. Along with this, he has also thanked the scientists. He wrote in a tweet- 'A decisive turning point to strengthen a spirited fight! DCGI granting approval to vaccines of @SerumInstIndia and @BharatBiotech accelerates the road to a healthier and COVID-free nation. Congratulations India. Congratulations to our hardworking scientists and innovators. ' Now, after his tweet, people are seen celebrating on Twitter.
