Rajasthan: Preparation for assembly by-election starts, Congress appoints in-charge

Jaipur: Sujangarh, Rajsamand and Sahada assembly by-elections in Rajasthan have been appointed in-charge on behalf of the State Congress Committee. State Congress unit president Govind Singh Dotasara has appointed the in-charge in the proposed by-elections. Dotasara said that in-charge minister and higher education minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati, MLA candidate Mangalaram Godara, besides Dungaram Bowler and Narang Verma have been made in charge for the by-election for Sujangarh (SC) reserved seat.

He said that in-charge minister and medical minister Raghu Sharma, former MLA Harimohan Sharma as well as party leaders Dharmendra Rathore and Ram Singh Kaswan have been appointed in-charge for the proposed by-election for Sahada general seat in Bhilwara district. Similarly, in the proposed by-election for Rajsamand general seat, in-charge Minister and Cooperative Minister Uday Lal Anjana, MLA candidate Pushpendra Bhardwaj, besides Ashish Perewa and Mukesh Verma have been made in-charge.

After this, Dotasara said that he was confident that in these three by-elections, the Janata government would make the Congress party victorious by stamping on two years of good governance. Master Bhanwar Lal Meghwal, who was elected MLA from Sujangarh, died after a long illness as Minister of Social Justice Empowerment. Kailash Trivedi, who became MLA from Sahada and Kiran Maheshwari, MLA from Rajsamand, died due to the global epidemic corona. Mr Meghwal and Trivedi Congress and Mrs Maheshwari were BJP MLAs.
