An uproar over the letter in Congress continued, Sibal said - 'Not position, country is important for me'

New Delhi: The continuing conflict in Congress has not cooled down yet. At the meeting of the Congress Working Committee on Monday, a letter written by 23 party leaders demanding change in leadership was capped. After Sonia Gandhi was re-elected the interim president of the party, the leaders who wrote the letter had a meeting regarding the strategy ahead. On Tuesday, Sibal has made a tweet that has started speculating. At the same time, suspended party leader Sanjay Jha has called it the beginning of the end.

Kapil Sibal said, 'It is not about a post. It is about my country that matters the most. On the other hand, suspended leader of the party, Sanjay Jha, tweeted that "this is the beginning of the end". Earlier, Sibal tweeted protesting Rahul Gandhi's alleged remarks in connivance with BJP. However, he retracted the tweet when he spoke to Rahul Gandhi.

At the beginning of the meeting, the plan was to shore up the opposition leaders of Rahul Gandhi. As part of this strategy, Sonia Gandhi spoke of quitting the interim president. After this, Rahul has attacked the leaders who wrote the letter. Although leaders like former PM Manmohan Singh, AK Antony glorified Sonia, but in the end Sonia had to say that she does not have any ill-will towards those who write letters.
