Disputed statement of Congress leader Udit Raj on Pulwama attack, says 'Attack will happen again before 2024'

New Delhi: Congress leader Udit Raj has given an objectionable statement about the attack in Pulwama on February 14 last year. Udit Raj alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by making Pulwama an election issue. Udit Raj said that an attack like Pulwama could happen again before 2024.

Udit Raj has justified the statement of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, in which Rahul had raised questions about the Pulwama attack. Udit Raj said in a tweet that, 'Rahul Gandhi correctly asked that the result of the investigation of the Pulwama attack is not yet or when the Ministry of Home Affairs got the news that CRPF should be transported not by road but by air. This event was allowed to happen for political gains.

In another tweet, Udit Raj has said that after the Pulwama attack, BJP workers went out on candle march across the country, which was the work of the opposition, the work was captured by the ruling party. The opposition should have questioned as did the BJP in the 26/11 Taj Hotel attack, how did the attackers come? It seems the Congress has missed the question, the time is right.
