Amritsar: Veteran Punjab leader and former CM Captain Amarinder Singh's wife Preneet Kaur, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, has been suspended by the Congress from the party. The Congress has accused her of indulging in anti-party activities. Punjab Congress unit chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring had written to party chief Mallikarjun Kharge complaining about Preneet Kaur. The letter said that Congress Lok Sabha MP from Patiala, Preneet Kaur, is involved in anti-party activities to help the BJP. Raja Warring says that many senior Congress leaders of Punjab also feel that Preneet Kaur is doing such work. After receiving the complaint, a letter was written to the Disciplinary Committee of the Congress Party for necessary action. After this, the committee has taken this decision. The party has also issued a notice to Preneet Kaur asking her to reply. The Congress suspended Preneet Kaur from the party and asked her to answer in three days why she should not be expelled from the party. While giving information about the suspension, Disciplinary Committee member Tariq Anwar said, 'Congress was continuously receiving complaints about Preneet Kaur that she is involved in anti-party activities.
