Patna: The Corona epidemic has caused a huge outcry in the entire country, in view of the corona infection is spreading in Bihar. Nearly 8 thousand new cases have been registered in the state in the last 24 hours. In view of the deteriorating situation, now Mukesh Sahni, the national president of the Vikas Insan Party (VIP) and a minister in the Bihar government, has requested a complete lockdown in the state. He has insisted that a complete lockdown be put in place before the situation becomes uncontrollable. Citing the example of the Corona blasts in Maharashtra, Mukesh Sahni has said that the lockdown should be imposed in the state at the earliest so that the situation of infection in Bihar is not uncontrolled. He has also proposed to the government to make his government house an isolation center. He has told "1137 veterinarians, 50 ambulance vans under my department, and the Bihar Veterinary University building should be used by the state government to build isolation centers. My own government residence can also be used as an isolation center". It should be noted that this proposal from Mukesh Sahni was given in an all-party meeting against Corona. In the same meeting, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also pleaded for a complete lockdown in the state. He had emphasized that the weekend lockdown is not going to improve the situation in Bihar. In his view, a full lockdown is an appropriate option given the circumstances. A statement was also made by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after the end of the all-party meeting. He had expressed concern over the growing issues in the state and said that he is going to have a meeting with the District Magistrate and SP on Sunday. Any necessary decision will be taken only after that meeting.
