Corona catches dangerous speed, active cases reach close to 80,000

New Delhi: The coronavirus is now spreading rapidly in India. The number of active corona patients has gone up to 79,313. However, in the last 24 hours, there has been a slight decline in corona cases. On Tuesday, 9923 cases of corona have been reported, while 7293 patients have defeated corona across the country.

According to data received from the health department, the positivity rate across the country has now gone up to 2.55 per cent. However, the corona cases are 22.4 per cent less than monday. The highest number of cases have been reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours. 2,786 patients have been reported in Kerala, 2,354 in Maharashtra, 1,060 in Delhi, 686 in Tamil Nadu and 684 in Haryana.

According to the data, 76.28 per cent of the corona infected patients received across the country have been reported in these 5 states. Kerala alone has 28.8 per cent of the patients. In the last 24 hours, 17 people have died due to corona in the country. Now the total number of people who have lost their lives due to corona in the country has increased to 5,24,890. According to the health department's data, a total of 7,293 patients have defeated the corona infection in the last 24 hours. Subsequently, a total of 4,27,15,193 patients have recovered from corona infection so far. At the same time, there are now 79,313 active cases of corona in the country, 2,613 active cases have increased in the last 24 hours. According to the report, 13,00,024 corona vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours across the country. While 3,88,641 samples were collected.
