India CORONA: Infection figure falls down for fourth consecutive day

New Delhi: The situation worsened by the Covid epidemic in India seems to be improving. More than 1 lakh corona cases have been reported for the fourth consecutive day. According to the latest health department data, 91,702 new covid cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 3403 infected people have lost their lives. 1 lakh 34 thousand 580 people have also recovered from covid. That is, 46,281 active cases were reduced in the past day. Earlier, 94,052 cases were registered on Wednesday.

Today, for the 29th consecutive day in the country, there has been more recovery than new cases of covid virus. As on 10th June, 24.6million covid vaccine doses have been given across the country. 32 lakh 74 thousand vaccines have been administered in the last day. So far, 37.42 crore corona tests have been conducted. About 20.44 lakh covid sample tests were conducted the previous day, with a positivity rate of more than 4 per cent.

Covid mortality rate in the country is 1.23 per cent while recovery rate has exceeded 94 per cent. Active cases have come down to less than 4 per cent. India ranks second in the world in the Covid Active Case. India also ranks second in terms of total number of infected people. India has the highest number of deaths in the world after the US, Brazil.

A total of 11,449 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering from the infection during the day. After which the number of patients free from infection has gone up to 56,08,753. The rate of infection free in the state is 95.45 and mortality rate is 1. It is 77 per cent. 1,60,693 patients are undergoing treatment for infection in the state.
