Corona: 69 thousand tests in last 24 hours in Delhi, Know number of infected

New Delhi: The rising pace of infection in the capital Delhi has now seen decreasing. A record 69,051 tests were conducted in Delhi on Saturday 28 November, in which 4,998 positive cases were found and 89 infected people died. The number of new patients in Delhi was increasing by more than 5 thousand per day, in which there was some decrease on Friday. Earlier on Friday, 5,482 new cases of infection were registered in the capital while 98 patients died.

In Delhi, there are currently 36,578 active cases while the recovery rate was 91.89% with some improvement on Saturday. In the last 24 hours, 6,512 patients recovered and returned to their homes. COVID-19 infection gained momentum this week in Delhi. The State Government has also increased the penalty imposed on the mask without being found four times from Rs 500 / - to Rs 2,000 / -. At the time of the festival and the worsening weather, the pace of infection has also increased.

A total of 5,61,742 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in Delhi so far, of which 5,16,166 patients have recovered and returned home while 8,998 patients have died. A total of 61,73,209 investigations have been done so far in Delhi. Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Saturday had informed that since November 07, the rate of infection in Delhi has come down by 45%. The highest rate of infection in the capital was 15.26% on 07 November, which has fallen to 8.51% by 27 November.
