According to the information found, coronavirus is caused by eating chicken. This rumor has given a major blow to the poultry industry. In the big mandis like Haryana, Delhi, the traders of Doon have suffered a lot due to the lower prices. Most poultry farms are now empty after going through a recession on Holi. There are about 400 poultry farms in Doon. The Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr. SB Pandey said that about five lakh chickens (broilers and lair) are produced in the district. Broilers are chicken and layer ie chickens that lay eggs. Told that Corona has nothing to do with chicken. This is just a rumor.
