Dehradun: Corona has greatly affected every section of the country. On Tuesday, five COVID-19 positive patients died in Uttarakhand, while 208 new COVID-19 have been found infected. There are 32 infected contacts found in Pithoragarh city. Of the 23 infected in Haridwar city, 18 have come in contact, five have no travel history. 10 patients have been tested in Champawat and Nainital city each, eight in Uttarkashi city, six in Pauri, three each in Almora and Tehri city, one each in Chamoli and Rudraprayag cities. Also on Tuesday, three in Haldwani Medical College, three in Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant, one corona positive patient has died in Doon Medical College. COVID-19 has been confirmed in a PRD jawan of Bharwala village. COVID-19 report of 1 factory worker of Luxor has come positive. Both were home quarantined for the past several days. Both have been referred to COVID Care Center. Along with this, some area near their houses is sealed. There is a continuous increase in the cases of Corona in the state.
