Corona wreaks havoc in Uttarakhand,16 rafting guide test positive for virus

In Tirthanagari, cases of covid are constantly increasing. Now rafting guides are also getting infected with this virus. On Thursday, 16 rafting guides in the Munikireti region tested positive for virus. Whereas earlier 4 rafting guides have come positive. Apart from this, one patient of Dharapalada has turned out to be covid positive in rapid antigen test.

Fakot block health in-charge of Tehri district, Dr. Jagdishchandra Joshi said that on Thursday, 16 rafting guides have turned out to be covid positive, even before 04 rafting guides have turned out to be covid positive. In addition to this, 157 samples of RTPCR were taken under COVID-19. 07 samples have been sent for truant and 08 samples for rapid antigen. In the rapid sample, one of the shield man turned positive from covid-19. 36 RTPCR samples of covid-19 were taken at SPS State Hospital Rishikesh.

Tourism business will be affected: It has been learned that after the opening of rafting in Rishikesh Tirthanagari on 25 September, the tourism business has gained momentum here. But now with the rafting guide being found positive, this business is also going to be affected. According to the information received, rafting guides come in contact with tourists coming from other provinces.
