Dehradun: The whole world is affected due to Coronavirus. In spite of all the efforts of the government to detect the same COVID-19 infection, there has been an increase in sampling in Uttarakhand but the backlog of samples sent for the test is also increasing. Haridwar, Pauri and Pithoragarh cities have the highest sample backlog. So far, 1.95 lakh samples have been tested in the state since March 15. The number of patients with COVID-19 has also increased due to increased sampling. In comparison to the previous increase of test labs in the state, now more than four thousand samples are being sent for examination every day. Even after this the waiting of samples is increasing. Currently, five government and five private pathology labs in the state have the facility to test the Covid samples. In addition, the government has given True Net machines to all cities for testing samples. This allows early detection of COVID-19 infection in the suspected patient. 1621 in Haridwar city, 1249 in Pauri, 1258 in Pithoragarh, 834 in Uttarkashi, 1057 in Almora and in Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat city, the weight of samples is more than five hundred. Health Secretary Amit Singh Negi says that all cities have been instructed to increase sampling. Sample investigations have increased significantly compared to earlier. On an average, more than 5000 samples are being reported daily. The cases of corona are continuously increasing in the state.
