Big news! DCGI approves emergency use of Covishield and Covaxin

New Delhi: Corona virus is wreaking havoc in the country, but still people are scared due to its second appearance. Everyone is desperate to get a vaccine as soon as possible. The vaccine preparations are in full swing at the moment. On the last Saturday too, a dry run has been done to see its preparations in the country.

Now meanwhile, today, on Sunday, the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) held a press conference. In this press conference, he gave information about vaccine. During the press conference, he said that, 'The Expert Committee has reported that the covarised vaccine of the Serum Institute of India (SII) and the Covaccine of Bharat Biotech have been approved for emergency in the country.

Serum Institute is co-producing Covishield with Oxford University. Apart from this, DCGI has also informed that 'Covishield and covaxine are completely safe. 2–2 doses of these vaccines will be given during vaccination. The third phase of clinical trial of Cadill Healthcare vaccine has also been approved.
