Saudi Arabia has put a travel ban on three countries including India. Saudi Arabia has also banned persons coming from these countries in the wake of the COVID-19 virus. Apart from India, it also includes Brazil and Argentina. This decision has been taken in view of the cases of increasing COVID-19 in these countries. Apart from this, people who have come from these countries have been kept in isolation for 14 days. Earlier, Air India Express flights were cancelled on September 18 for 24 hours on bringing COVID-19 infected passengers. Air India Express had reported that Dubai Civil Aviation Authority had cancelled its flights for 24 hours on bringing COVID-19 infected passengers. Earlier, flights were said to be cancelled by October 2. Two days ago Hong Kong banned Air India flights till October 3. Some passenger COVID-19 positives of Air India flight reached Hong Kong on 18 September. According to Hong Kong government regulations released in July, only those passengers from India are allowed to arrive in Hong Kong if their COVID-19 report is 72 hours before the start of the trip is negative. Additionally, it is mandatory for all international travellers to have a COVID-19 check at the airport even after reaching Hong Kong. It will also be necessary to follow all safety rules.
