NEW DELHI: Indian cricket test team captain Virat Kohli on Tuesday underlined the importance of developing healthy eating habits among children during an event in New Delhi. Speaking at the launch of a pedometer, the ace batsman encouraged children to play outdoor games instead of staying glued to computers and television sets. He also urged parents to strictly follow a healthy diet for their children. “It is every family member’s responsibility to cultivate healthy eating habit among their kids. At times, we let the children have chocolates due to our lack of patience to arrange something healthy. It is not that difficult to manage a healthy diet. But if we let children have these (junk) food items, they will get used to it and it will become difficult to get rid of these habits,” Kohli said.
