The player Cristiano Ronaldo yesterday in the Europe award won the UEFA Best Player for the third time in four years. To win the award he beat Barcelona Lionel Messi and Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
The 32-year old helped out his team in the Champions League glory in 2016-17 in which he scored 12 goals in the competition.
In the year 2014 and 2016 Ronaldo had won the award.
