Cryptocurrency Prices today: Bitcoin falls 0.60-pc; Ethereum, Terra rise

The global crypto market capitalization has dropped by 0.04 percent to USD2.36 trillion over the previous 24 hours. Bitcoin, which is presently priced at USD49,893.84, has lost 0.60 percent of its market domination in the last day, putting it at 39.91 percent.

Over the last 24 hours, total cryptocurrency trade volume was USD102.50 billion, down 6.04 percent. Stablecoins (USD80.36 billion) accounted for 78.40 percent of the crypto market's 24-hour market volume, while DeFi (USD16.06 billion) accounted for 15.67 percent of total crypto volume.

In terms of key cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin fell by 1.20 percent internationally, while Ethereum (Rs 3,49,556) climbed by 1.47 percent. Cardano (Rs 109.39) lost 0.09 percent of its value. Over the last 24 hours, Avalanche (Rs 7,267.37) has gained 1.87 percent, Polkadot (Rs 2,326.97) has lost 0.82 percent, and Litecoin (Rs 12,851.86) has lost 0.44 percent. SHIB, a Memecoin, has also lost 0.43 percent of its value, while DOGE has lost 0.43 percent of its value. The price of bitcoin is currently Rs 39,82,246.

The new Cryptocurrency bill in India is expected to provide regulators and government institutions such as the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) and the Reserve Bank of India more power (RBI).
