In 2020 Nissan Kicks, the company has given Nissan's turbo engine and it is the same engine that was introduced in the Renault Duster at the 2020 Auto Expo. It is a 1.3 liter four-cylinder, turbo-charged petrol engine that conforms to BS6 standards and generates 154 bhp power and 254 Nm torque. The engine has also been given a cylinder coating technology by the company, which is derived from the Nissan GT-R, so that it can give more mileage as well as better performance. The engine will be given a 6-speed manual gearbox standard and it has an 8-step manual mode optional with an X-tronic CVT gearbox. It gives 40 percent friction acceleration response to give more mileage.
