In fact, the Met department says that the cyclonic storm will hit the coast near Mangrol between Veraval and Porbandar in Gujarat. It is likely to affect the coasts of Maharashtra, Kerala and Gujarat for three days. At the same time, the Met department has also predicted that winds of 150 to 160 kmph are likely to blow during the cyclonic storm. In Gujarat, coast guards are on alert over cyclone arrival in the sea areas of Kutch and Saurashtra. At the same time, fishermen have been warned to stay away from the sea. On the other hand, the Met department has issued an alert in Maharashtra. Mumbai, Thane and Raigad are likely to receive very heavy rain till Monday amid the threat of storm.
