Gas leak causes massive fire, severely scorched entire family

Munger: A heart-wrenching incident has happened in Munger, where the cylinder caught fire due to gas leaking during cooking. Due to the extinguishing of the fire, 5 children including husband and wife were badly burnt. Thereafter, all were admitted to the Primary Health Center (PHC). Doctors have referred them to Jawaharlal Medical College Hospital Bhagalpur for better treatment.

In fact, the matter is that this morning in Ballia Panchayat of Sangrampur block, Arun Kumar Tanti's house caught fire after his wife Bindu Devi was cooking food after the gas cylinder leaked. In this case, 7 people got burnt. With the help of the villagers, all were brought to the Primary Health Center Sangrampur for treatment. Where the doctors after first aid and referred everyone to Jawahar Medical College Bhagalpur for better treatment.

Arun Kumar Tanti, his wife, and 5 children were burnt in the same accident. Children are in the age group of 3 years to 7 years. Injured Arun Kumar Tanti said his wife Bindu Devi was making rice on a gas stove this morning. After the cylinder was leaking, the gas spread all over the house and the cylinder caught fire. The fire spread completely before they could understand anything. He, his wife, and 5 children were burnt as they extinguished the fire. After which they were brought to the hospital with the help of villagers. People said that when we came to know that Arun Kumar Tanti's house had caught fire due to a gas cylinder, we somehow pulled everyone out of the house.
