Dalai Lama to meet PM Modi soon, here's the reason

New Delhi: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama celebrated his birthday yesterday and is also scheduled to hold a meeting with PM Narendra Modi after receiving his best wishes on his birthday. At the same time, he wants to go to China, Tibet. He wants to go there and visit his birthplace again. This was reported by Penpa Tsering. He is the President of the Tibetan Government (Central Tibetan Administration) in exile. Penpa Tsering hopes that India will help the Lama fulfill his dream of going to his birthplace.

Penpa Tsering told the discussion that the Dalai Lama will meet PM Narendra Modi when the corona conditions improve. He said the Government of India will decide when the meeting will be held due to Lama's visit to Delhi. Penpa Tsering further said, "I would also like to call PM Narendra Modi to express my gratitude for what India has done for us." He further said that there are some other things in which he would like to involve the Indian Government.

The Dalai Lama wants to see his birthplace:- The Dalai Lama wants to go to China, Tibet. He has expressed his desire to visit his birthplace several times in the past. "He has unofficially discussed it with the Chinese government several times, but now he wants to find an official way," Penpa Tsering said. Dalai Lama was born on July 6, 1935, in Takcher, a small village in Amdo in northern Tibet. His childhood name was Lhamo Dodub. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989.
