Greater Noida: There was chaos in Greater Noida adjoining Delhi when a fire broke out in a chemical factory in Surajpur Industry area after a sudden explosion. Soon the fire took a vicious turn. Keep the chemical drums in the company started bursting like bomb shells. The flames began to engulf the sky. People in the vicinity had a lot of trouble breathing from black smoke. The explosions were clearly heard far and wide due to chemicals reaction. The nearby companies were evacuated by the police as a precautionary measure. Police and fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and tried to control the fire. The fire was so severe that about a dozen trains were called to douse the flames. The fire was doused after hours of work. No loss of life so far: it has been revealed that the fire engulfed all the goods kept in the company and soon turned into ashes. Police and fire ministry officials are investigating. So far, there has been no loss of life. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as to what caused the fire inside the company. Fire ministry officer Arun Kumar Singh said police had received information about the fire inside the chemical factory.
