Dassault Aviation stops production of Rafale jets due to coronavirus

Paris: Dassault  Aviation has stopped production of Rafale fighter jet for India till 31 March due to Coronavirus. Giving information on Friday, sources related to the Indian Airforce have said that Dassau has taken this decision in view of the precautionary steps taken by the French government to prevent the infection of Coronavirus.

However, sources related to the Air Force also clarified that this would have 'no impact' on the delivery of the first batch of Rafale fighter jets in May this year. Delivery after the first shipment of Rafale aircraft may be affected, but when the lockdown in France continues for a long time due to the Coronavirus. In France, more than 350 people have died due to this deadly virus.

A source has said, "In view of the steps taken by the French government to deal with the transition of Kovid-19, it took files to postpone the construction of Rafale fighter jet for India at Dassau Aviation factory till 31 March. has gone.
