In the Mandavari police station area of the city, about 2 weeks ago, the case of gang rape of a disabled baby girl created headlines. Protests are going on at several places in Dausa regarding the matter. On Monday, the Bhim Army put a halt on the Collectorate. There was a protest outside the Lalsot police station from noon. Due to this, Lalsot area became completely disorganized. After the mediation of the District Collector and the Superintendent of Police at midnight, the case was settled. Many leaders sat outside the Lalsot police station in the middle of the main road and shouted slogans against the police and administration. Due to this, the traffic system of the district was completely disorganized and long queues of vehicles were also installed there. The protesters demanded the gang rape victim's government job, financial compensation and the arrest of the other accused who are absconding. Police and administration officials continued to explain to Jitendra Gothwal, but they did not agree and insisted on calling IG and Dausa Collector. Deadlock persisted on the case late at night. Apart from this, Collector Piyush Samaria and Superintendent of Police Manish Agarwal reached there and consulted with Gothwal. During this, the SP said that the police has detained a named accused who is absconding in the gangrape. So far all the named accused have been arrested. However, so far five to six other accused are absconding. The SP assured early arrest of the remaining accused. Apart from this, the victim assured to reach the government for jobs and financial compensation. After the assurance from the administration, the sit-in demonstration outside Lalsot police station ended at around 1 pm.
