Red Fort Violence: Deep Sidhu will remain on remand of crime branch for 7 days, many secrets will open

New Delhi: Police custody of Deep Sidhu, arrested in connection with the violence at the Red Fort during the tractor parade, which was taken out during the farmers' agitation, has been extended. Deep Sidhu was present in Tis Hazari Court at 10 o'clock today. During this time, the court has handed over Deep to the custody of the crime branch for seven days. Earlier on February 9, Deep Sidhu was sent to seven days of police custody. Deep Sidhu will be kept in the custody of the crime branch till 23 February.

It is noteworthy that violence erupted in Delhi during the tractor parade on 26 January. During this time, some people entered the Red Fort and beat the security forces here. Not only this, but some people also waved the religious flag at the ramparts of the Red Fort. Delhi Police allege that Deep had instigated violence, causing damage to public property.

Earlier in the inquiry, Deep Sidhu had said that he suspected that the farmer leaders were getting soft in conversation with the government and during the tractor parade with the Delhi Police, during and after the lockdown, Deep Sidhu did not get any work and when the farmer movement started in Punjab in August, he got attracted to it.
