Japan then scored their second goal in the 42nd minute to completely surprise the Indian team. The Indian team then played aggressively and again got 2 penalty corners but the players failed completely to convert both of them into goals this time too. Japan now top Pool A by winning both of the two matches, while India has finished second after registering a 9-0 win over Malaysia in their first match.
