Delhi: Elder brother raped an 8-year-old sister when parents were out of home

In the National Capital, Delhi, a case has been registered for raping her 8-year-old sister. A brother in Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area has been accused of raping his 8-year-old sister. The accused brother is also a child who is 12 years old. 

An official said that the police received a report from a local hospital on Monday that a child has been admitted, and she had a lot of bleeding from the genitals. The girl told a counsellor that when her parents had gone out, her elder brother forced her. The accused brother has been taken into custody.  Delhi Women's Commission President Swati the victim on Wednesday. The Delhi Women's Commission said in a statement that the girl's parents are poor and both work as daily labourers. The statement said that the girl had to undergo a major operation and her condition remained serious. Swati Maliwal said that she is trying to help the sufferers in every way.

The rape incidents are increasing with children in the national capital. Delhi Police statistics show that more than two children are being a victim of rape every day in the capital. Last year till April 30, 278 cases of rape were reported to children, 282 cases were recorded this year. In the year 2017, 894 cases of child rape were registered in Delhi.
