New Delhi: The weather in India's capital, Delhi, is rapidly deteriorating. Although the cold wave has passed, pollution in the capital's air has lingered for more than a month. On Wednesday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi remained 'very bad.' Delhi has a 362 AQI, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR). As the winter continues, the weather may also shift. The lowest temperature on Wednesday is predicted to be 11 degrees Celsius, with a high temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Department. Meanwhile, the sky is expected to be partly overcast, with thunder and lightning flashing. Meanwhile, rain is expected in the city on Thursday. The maximum temperature for Thursday is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius, with a low of 12 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Department's prediction. Rain will exacerbate the cold wave conditions in the following days. On Friday, the lowest temperature will be 13 degrees Celsius and the highest temperature will be 25 degrees Celsius. There's also a chance that the amount of fog will grow in the near future. Simultaneously, Saturday's highest temperature is expected to be 26 degrees, with a low temperature of 11 degrees.
