AAP and Congress may get major setback in Delhi, Here's The Reason

New Delhi: Assembly elections are scheduled to be held early next year in Delhi. At present, the BJP is in a strong position. There are reports that Congress and some of AAP leaders want to join the BJP in the state. The leaders are deeply impressed by the party's bumper victory in the Lok Sabha and the government's decision on Kashmir. According to BJP sources, the three leaders had contested Lok sabha elections from different constituencies in Delhi and lost by a large margin. He is now in touch with the BJP and has expressed his desire to join the party.

After failing to form a pre-poll alliance for the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress and AAP had fielded candidates in all the seven seats of the national capital. Another top BJP leader, who is in touch with the three leaders, said, "Apart from praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his way of abolishing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by removing Article 370, the three leaders are also affected by the BJP's overwhelming majority victory in the Lok Sabha elections this year.

The three leaders had contested the Lok Sabha elections from South, North West and West Delhi seats. He said, he can join the BJP after getting the green signal from the national leadership. "Two of them contested the Lok Sabha elections on your ticket while one contested on the Congress ticket. Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari said that many people are willing to join the party.

However, he did not specifically comment. "Pm Modi's charisma is drawing many people to the BJP. Sources in the Delhi BJP claimed that their state unit has made inroads into the eastern and Bihari areas of Delhi, which is considered your stronghold. In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won all the seven seats.
