Businessman robbed at gunpoint in Delhi

In Delhi, the motives of the miscreants are high and they do not care about the police and the law and order at all. Recently, a major incident of loot has come to light from Delhi's Model Town. The incident took place in Gujranwala area where some miscreants robbed a Mercedes car rider at gunpoint and fled, threatening to kill himself. Police have registered a case and started a search operation.

Delhi: 4 crooks arrested for murder and looting

According to sources, a man named Varun was entering the gate of the house by Mercedes car with his wife and child at around 3 p.m. on Sunday night. As Varun opened the car gate and came out, three miscreants surrounded him at gunpoint. Threatening Varun and his wife, he snatched away their valuables. The on-the-go crooks also threatened not to try to chase. Varun is a businessman by profession.

Robbery and theft have become common in the area and every day there is some incident. The whole incident was caught on CCTV camera. Police have taken CCTV footage of the incident and intensified search for the robbers.

The incident has put a big question mark on the functioning of the Delhi Police as Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal recently held a meeting with Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik on law and order and directed the security to be beefed up.
